What are we living for?

What Are We Living For? It’s the question none of us can answer, and yet, it’s the one that keeps me endlessly fascinated with life. What are we living for? What is our purpose? I’m sure most of us have, at some point, paused and thought, Is this really it? Just eating, sleeping, working — on repeat? And so we try to give it meaning. Some find it in love. Some in travel and adventure. Others in spiritual awakening. Here’s something worth sitting with: this body is made of cells . When we see it as just a body, it needs food and water to survive. Who I am beyond my job and achievements?

Out of the 24 hours in a day, we spend 8–9 hours working. That means a significant portion of our lives is devoted to work. When I step back and look at the bigger picture, I realize I've spent almost half my life working and chasing money. So, to answer the question that I posed, my answer is   yes! But why? Religion matters to me because it offers a different dimension and perspective on how I see this world. Sometimes, I feel like I see the world through two different lenses. So,the word “love” appears most frequently in the Bible. As God said,  “Love your neighbor as yourself,-  a message   that transcends ethnicity and religion. I know it is not easy to love others as you love yourself. But by doing so with just 50%, we create space for kindness and compassion. Of course, self-love also matters! The verse mentioned above is always ignored on the more outstanding notion. This little verse has   the solution to everything and everyone . Hence, when I think about that verse and try to live with that. I believe most of the problems that we face and disp...
